UNMC HIGH SCHOOL ALLIANCE PROGRAM

Students take classes on the UNMC campus everyday from 1-3 pm. So that means you would only take classes here for the first four class periods.
This is a ONE-YEAR PROGRAM – so best taken senior year due to prerequisites!
Competitive application and interview process for selection. Not college credit – HS credit only Top-notch instructors & amazing opportunities! Looks fantastic on college / scholarship applications & as an essay topic!
To be eligible, students from the participating districts must meet the following criteria:
Be a high school junior or senior & at least 16 years of age at the beginning of the next school year
Have completed and received a grade of "B" or better in Algebra 1, Biology, a physical science course, and a third year of science (juniors can be currently enrolled in their third year of science)

To apply everything must be submitted to the UNMC High School Alliance by midnight on 2/10/23
A completed application form (including parent/guardian and student confirmations)
A one-page essay, not exceeding 250 words
A counselor certification form
A copy of your most current school transcripts
Two recommendation forms
One from a math or science teacher
One from any other teacher or administrator
