What is dual credit?
Dual Enrollment allows academically talented students to earn college credit while still in high school. College-bound students can get a jump on their degree and maximize their time in advanced high school classes. Dual enrollment helps students remain engaged in high school and helps prepare for college-level curriculum.

WHAT IS ARTICULATION?
Articulation is a term used to describe the courses taught at MCC that the four-year institution will accept because the content is the same.
Articulation agreements and transfer agreements are official contracts between a four-year institution and MCC to guarantee the MCC associates degree will transfer to the four-year institution.
Recently our students have begin taking animal science and agriculture related dual credit courses through the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis.
It's the two year technical agriculture school that is part of the University of Nebraska system. It is nationally ranked as one of the best two-year colleges, and Forbes Business Magazine places it among the top 30 trade schools in the nation. Their programs have high academic quality, are affordable and guarantee career success for graduates.
Courses are college-level, contain the same content and rigor as other courses offered at NCTA, and may transfer.
