Quarter 4 was both a challenging as well as a successful quarter for our team. At the beginning of Q4, we knew that we needed to diversify revenue in order to meet our target for lives as a result of losing the BISD contract for 1/1; however, by mid quarter, we were projected to close with HCS and their 13,000 virtual lives.
On our Customer Success team, we quickly pivoted and executed a successful (and fun) retail sales bonanza with all hands on deck leading SDR work, cold calls, and innovative marketing campaigns.
Our Direct Care team jumped through the hoops to become licensed and contracted to complete VA exams in our clinics. We also rolled out a new IV Therapy program for members.
The People team, in preparing for the virtual DPC program, navigated for the first time how to license multiple providers across state lines, resulting in a repeatable process for future hires.
Overall, we closed Q4 very optimistic and grateful for the conversations we've entered in order to be poised to welcome the influx of lives.
Below, we dive into the specific measurables for Quarter 4. We thank you for entrusting your investment with us.
#1 - Successfully contracted with Optum Serve to complete VA Exams in Frontier clinics
#2 - Fully developed virtual DPC product ready for market
#3 - Frontier Wellness and Aesthetics is up and running inside a beautiful new location
budgeted vs. actual
Years ago, Yolanda she was a patient of Amy Garza, PA-C (FDC Brownsville), but then Yolanda moved to San Antonio. She found the medical system hard to navigate there. She reached out to Amy recently to find out where she is working. Yolanda drove all the way from San Antonio to see Amy and sign up for Frontier. That speaks volumes about the care Amy provides!
Yolanda told me that "Amy cares about me. She treats me like I am someone who matters. Somebody's daughter. Somebody's mother." She shares that at Frontier, the staff "really go the extra mile." Yolanda explained that Debbie Herrera, Member Services Rep, went above and beyond to help register her as a member and explain the benefits. When she went to the clinic, Mauricio Blanco, Medical Support Staff, helped her even though he was on his lunch break; he attended to her right away. And she said all of the staff at the clinic were so friendly. She was literally crying when she spoke with me. Yolanda told me that more people should know about Frontier. "In San Antonio, it was puro business. At Frontier, it's like family. "
Yesenia, patient of Gina Sanchez, FNP-C, (FDC McAllen 23rd) is immensely grateful for the care and peace of mind that comes with being a Frontier member. When asked what stands out to her the most about Frontier, Yesenia shares, “Customer service for sure. We love the refreshments, no wait times, no co-pays, and clean clinic environment. However, it’s the excellent service that really makes a difference. Gina really cares about her patients. I love that she follows up with us after an appointment. She genuinely cares. She’s willing to try something else if something isn’t working. She listens. She talks to my kids–-the actual patients. If the City of McAllen were to cancel our Frontier benefits, we would invest in Frontier ourselves. It works for our family.”
