Title: The effects of a 3-week home convict conditioning on the fitness level to senior form students in Hong Kong
Abstract
Background: COVID-19 outbreak created the largest disruption of systems globally. In Hong Kong, the government announced class (face-to-face) suspension of all schools in response to the pandemic. As a result, online learning becomes a new platform for students to take part in lessons. However, there are a lot of restrictions that physical education class is facing as spaces and tools are insufficient at home. In order to maintain students’ physical activity (PA), a 3-weeks training program was conducted. The training program was based on the improvement of endurance, strength and cardiovascular function. Proposes: To investigate the possibility of a home fitness training program that increases the physical activity level of the senior form students and the effects of a modified home-based convict conditioning. Methodology: 30 F.4 to F.5 participants were recruited, participating in a 3-weeks online programme via zoom and videos. Three 30-minutes training sessions including online and self-practice per week were conducted. The research conducted as a pre-test and post-test design in the first session (week 0) and last session (week 4) with a 3-minutes burpee test(3MBT). Students’ enjoyment on PA and performance of the endurance, strength and cardiovascular function were measured at baseline and after the 3-weeks training practice. A modified version of Physical Activity Enjoyment Scale (PACES) was adopted for measuring the self-efficacy of the participants. Results: There was a significant growth of the mean of 3MBT result after the intervention from 50.3 to 53.3. Furthermore, the participants enjoyed the intervention, showing a positive result generally.

Title: Compare the perspiration function and effect on long distance running between two sportswear products
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to compare the sports performance of 10 subjects by wearing 2 different brands of sweatshirt, respectively are HEAT.RDY and Tri-Knit. The age of subjects are from 19-24. The subjects are required to finish a 31 minutes running test (Treadmill) at a self selected speed. And, there are 6 parameters (body temperature, level of comfort, rating of perceived exertion (RPE), heart rate, weight change and blood lactate) will be recorded in this study and will be analyzed to find out the different efficacy between these two sweatshirts and how the sweatshirt can affect the performance of athletes. Results: In cloth x time, there were no significant differences at body temperature, level of comfort, rating of perceived exertion (RPE), heart rate, weight change and blood lactate. However, there were significant differences in body temperature, level of comfort, rating of perceived exertion (RPE), heart rate, weight change and blood lactate across time occasions.
