Directions: As you build this webpage, everything should relate to the topic above. Throughout this webpage, you should use credible research to discuss THREE concepts related to mass communication (i.e., the topic in the heading above) and apply that topic to real-world media content.
Specifically,
TEXTBOX 1) You will use an OER resource that's openly licensed with Creative Commons or be in the public domain to offer an introduction to the topic listed above. Visit FREDLearn > "Assignment Guidelines & Resources: Mass Media Wiki" folder for where you can find OER resources.
TEXTBOX 2-4) You will use 3 different resources that are openly licensed with a Creative Commons license or be in the public domain to discuss THREE course concepts. You'll define and discuss each concept in the context of the topic that's listed in the heading. As you do this, you should incorporate at least 1 example from the following mass media mediums: newspaper article, book or magazine, radio/audio, film or television episode, and an Internet-based source. To share a real life example, you can insert another text box, embed a hyperlink, or upload an image. Then, you should add a small textbox next to the example that includes a caption for each audio, video, or image.
I have provided textboxes that you will use to explain the course concept, introduce the real life example, and explain how the real life example demonstrates the course concept. Visit this student website for examples of how to do this. Keep in mind everything posted must be openly licensed with a Creative Commons license or be in the public domain. You will account for your sources in-text and at the bottom of this webpage under the "References: Sources" and "References: Visuals" sections.
