Faculty

Mrs. Della Serra graduated cum laude from Mason Gross School of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and a Masters in Dance Education from Rutgers Graduate School of Education.  During her time at Mason Gross, she performed in works by Robert Battle (2012), Paulette Sears (2013), Randy James (2013), Doug Elkins (2013), and Shen Wei Dance Arts (2014).  Mrs. Della Serra is a Polestar Pilates trainer and received her PMA-CPT in 2014 through the Mason Gross Extension Division.  Currently, she is the Company Manager for Moving Youth Dance Company and serves as Project Manager for Dance Ed Tips.  Mrs. Della Serra teaches various genres of dance and Pilates at multiple studios and camps in NJ to both children and adults.   She has been teaching at FHS since 2015.

Caylia Wallace received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from Montclair State University and her Master of Arts in Public Media with a concentration in Strategic Communication  from Fordham University. Caylia Wallace has performed works by Jessie Dimauro, Kim Whittam, Kathleen Kelley, Christian von Howard, Lori Katterhenry, Earl Mosley and Camille A. Brown. She's performed with various New York City project based companies and had the privilege to dance and assistant choreograph for WNBA Team, Connecticut Sun. In December 2018, she formally started her Visual and Performing Arts Foundation, Throughtheyes to create avenues and opportunities for young artists. In 2020, Caylia launched her media, lifestyle, and branding company, Caylia Wallace Media. In 2021, Wallace was commissioned by the Arts Council of England to produce an international exchange show with performing artists from both High Wycombe, UK and New Jersey. The Arts Council of England also commissioned her to create and perform her solo work, Eternity. Recently, Caylia became certified as a Flexologist with the Stretch Lab LLC. Caylia is currently working on building her acting and creative director/choreographer resume. Caylia is a growing international creative director, choreographer, performer, health and wellness enthusiast and a full time High School dance educator.
