Dress Code

DRESS CODE for Beginner, Integrated, Boys, Intermediate and Advanced Honors:

· You are required to wear all black clothing. If you do not have all black, please wear the closest thing to plain black attire (no logos). We have FHS Dance t-shirts for sale that you can purchase for $10 and wear. We also have FHS Dance hoodies for $20, however we need to place another order as we are out of stock.

· You may wear layers if it is cold however nothing baggy where we cannot see your body. It is important for us to see your alignment when moving so we can ensure your safety.

· Please, nothing low cut, see-through or super short!

· Jeans and jeggings are NOT allowed. You must change into leggings, sweatpants, or shorts.

· Gum chewing is NOT allowed.

· All jewelry must be removed and left in your dance locker.

· Hair needs to be secured up and off your face.

· The FHS school handbook dress code will be maintained in this dance classroom. Please remember that school policy states that you must wear shoes in the hallway. You are also responsible for keeping shoes and an extra sweater/jacket in the classroom in the event of a fire drill during our colder months.

*We do sell a variety of FHS Company apparel that will be shared on a separate website for order.

· Leotard and tights or leggings with bare feet for Modern technique days.

· Leotard and tights or leggings with ballet shoes for Ballet technique days.
