We have had a fantastic first Spring term in Year 3.
We have been so busy, with Stone Age Day, Arts Festival, and so much more.
Stone Age Day
We loved Stone Age Day. A great way to finish our work about The Stone Age to The Iron Age.
Next up in History we will be learning about the Romans.
Our Stone Age Art.
We made clay plaques and woolly mammoths.
Arts Festival
We looked at art inspired by geometrical patterns from Syria and recreated our own. It was tough to make sure it our art was symmetrical.
Thank you to those parents who came to see our work.
Music!
Along with brass we have been learning to play the Glockenspiel. We are getting so good at it now. Year 3 have been playing along to Bob Marley's Three Little Birds.
RE
Year 3 have been learning about other faith, using artefacts.
Visitors to School!
Recently, we were lucky enough to watch a concerts from the Bradford Music Service. We joined in with the singing too. They were fabulous.
We cannot wait to show you all the work we complete in Spring 2. So much to look forwrd to, including World Book Day, which is always great fun.
Thank you, as always, for your wonderful support this term, with reading, homework, and so much more.
