We have had a fantastic second half term in Year 3.
We have been so busy, with Science Day, Spoken Word Day, Parliament Day and so much more.
Science Day
Environmental Impact
We watched what happened when we added oil to water.
Then we added feathers to the oil and water.
Year 3 then thought about the impact of an oil spill, on the animals in the oceans.
Spoken Word Festival
We watched a magician do a clever magic trick.
until we could do the trick.
We then watched a clip showing how the trick was done.
Then we practised...
Then we performed our tricks for others thinking about our performances.
and practiced...
Parliament Day
We had a debate about whether we should come to school on Saturdays or not!
Then we voted and put our votes in a ballot box, whilst they were being counted we have a virtual tour round The Houses of Parliament.
Most of the class voted 'NO' to School on Saturdays, some people liked the idea.
Mrs Fletcher voted 'NO'!
Science - Rocks and Soils
ART in Year 3
We have been printing.
We used an mono printing block.
We took out the areas we didn't want ink to get to.
The roller the ink on and pressed down.
We cannot wait to show you all the work we complete in Spring 1.
Thank you, as always, for your wonderful support this term, with reading, homework, and so much more.
🎄We wish you and your families a joyful, peaceful and well-earned Christmas holiday.🧑🎄
See you in the New Year and let's hope for a healthy, happy one.
