Science Olympiad competed on March 1st at the Regional Competition in Jefferson. Please congratulate them for a winning season.
6th grade students Tanishq S., Anurag H. S., Steven D., and Divyansh P. won the Intermediate Division of the Atlanta Academic Bowl Regional Championship on February 15th 2025!
Congratulations to these students! Way to go!!!
This February 7th grade reading classes participated in a Book Spine Poetry activity in the media center. Students created poems by stacking books, the book titles making up the lines of poetry. 7th grade students earned points for representing different poetry terms in their work. In addition we celebrated Black History month and highlighted many wonderful books and authors during this activity. Students earned additional points for incorporating these featured titles into their poems. We were blown away by our students' creativity.
Mr. Miniscalco and Ms. Mallory stopped in to take part in the fun. Even 8th grade ELA wanted to get in on the action! Ms. Seymour's ELA classes adapted the activity to support their classroom learning about argumentative claims.
