We Are Thankful

Thank you all for participating in our "We Are Thankful" campaign. We had 13 students complete the Gratitude Scavenger Hunt and too many leaves to count on our wall. This was a great week to celebrate World Kindness Day and being thankful. We are looking forward to celebrating our Positive Friends in February.

VCMS Drama

VCMS Drama Club Performance of the musical "Dear Edwina Jr." @WFHS Auditorium, was a great success. The audience enjoyed the meaningful story of the "advice-giver extraordinaire" Edwina and her friends, responding to kids from around the world. The energy of the cast created a memorable atmosphere in the theater.

The following students were accepted to the University of Georgia Middle School Band Festival: Isabel S., Rashmitha Rajesh P., Urja S., Vyga S., Sanjana K.,

Sasya Shri T., Brock S., Liam C., Akshara R., Jonathan N., Owen D. and Carter M. They will participate in MidFest on the campus of the University of Georgia in December! Congrats!

Ms. Lloyd's class made sure to stop by the media center before Thanksgiving Break to grab some good books to read after eating too much turkey! I am so thankful for the time I get to spend with your kids at school. What a wonderful bunch of young folks. Enjoy your time together over Thanksgiving!
