Week at a Glance: This school newsletter will keep you up to date on all school wide events, programs, important deadlines, and more! You can find the link on the Focus portal, and on the Resource Page in the student Homeroom
Focus: The school calendar is found in Focus as well as the link to our weekly newsletter, Week at a Glance. There is also a Focus Community App so that you can see events and social media on mobile devices!

Homeroom teachers are a great resource for any FVHS questions!
Required communication is outlined in the Florida Virtual High School Parent Handbook, Parent/Guardian Roles and Responsibilities. It is a requirement that parent/guardians along with students complete the following calls with their homeroom teacher.
Welcome Call: this is a time for homeroom teachers to get to know you and to begin building that relationship from the start!
Monthly Calls: this is a time to review student progress. During the months of October, January, and April, homeroom teachers will review grades and pace in all 6 courses. This is an important opportunity to celebrate success and offer additional support.
Communication with the Homeroom teacher and classroom teachers will be through phone call, text, and email. Remember that your student's Homeroom teacher is always a great place to start with any questions.
