Firebird Parents and Guardians

Parents/Guardians are an essential part of our team! This Module will introduce you to your role as a partner in your student's education, as well as opportunities to get involved.

As a Firebird parent/guardian you will be involved in your student's education both as a parent and as a learning coach.  Although students at Florida Virtual High School are approaching adulthood, they still need support to achieve their potential. 

• Parent Role: encourage and support, advocate when struggling

• Learning Coach:  designate a work area, assist with pace charts/agendas, look at progress together
