The Goal of this unit is to Apply financial literacy to decision-making as related to  personal monetary planning. 

This entire unit is estimated to take 6-7 School Days at 45-60 minutes per day. 

Standards:

CT.ACDP.08.01 State the concept of risk-sharing and its relationship to insurance rates and   coverage. 

CT.ACDP.08.02 Define common insurance terminology.

CT.ACDP.08.03 Differentiate between the types of life insurance coverage.

CT.ACDP.08.04 List the types of auto insurance coverage and identify those that are required in Maryland.

CT.ACDP.08.05 Compare and contrast the types of health insurance coverage.
