Lafayette High School is home to the SCAPA program for high school students. SCAPA Lafayette is a program for students, grades 9–12, who have been identified as gifted/talented in the areas of Art, Music, Dance, Drama and Creativity.
Students wishing to be considered for a placement at SCAPA Lafayette must complete the district’s Special Programs Application on SchoolMint.
Applications are available from January 6–22, 2024.
Applicants may also include, as additional evidence for GT identification, one or more positive recommendations from an arts teacher/professional who knows you as an artist. Reference contacts will be submitted and sent through SchoolMint.
NOTE: The student MUST be a current resident of Fayette County at the time of application in order to be eligible to apply to SCAPA. This is non-negotiable!
