"I hope to further my art skills or at least my art style so that when I start creating my own video games, It has its own unique style. I also want to explore more of the world, maybe go to Italy or Japan to see different historical sites and get inspiration for my future artworks." -Ben
Below you will find his artwork and brief interview.
My dream job for my future is being a game designer and developer and having art skills is essential for that kind of job. Being able to design characters and landscapes helps make the game’s story. Also, if I am working on a team having these art skills will help me better show how I want a character to look or how a scene would be played. I also think that art is relaxing so I will definitely be drawing to relieve stress.
I always watched cartoons when I was little, especially Spongebob: Squarepants. I think this is where my love for art really comes from since I was always interested in being able to tell a story through pictures. Currently, I get inspiration from things that I see whether that be through TV shows, landscapes, games, and teachers. Without my supportive teachers, I don’t think my skills would have improved that much. They continue to push me to get better and better and never let me give up on my art pieces.
