Ms. Detraz primarily loves drawing with graphite, but becomes inspired when working with a variety of materials. During her time at Lafayette she has taught art 1, drawing, pottery, and SCAPA 9th & 10th grade visual artists. 

Ms. Detraz is consistently inspired by her students to keep finding connections. Whether walking into a bookstore, a dollar store, wondering through an art museum or an arboretum, Ms. Detraz hopes to find joy in the ordinary and teach her students how to find that joy too.
