Ms. Baniak is a Florida native who is thrilled to bring her arts education experience to Lafayette. This year she will be teaching Art 1, Drawing 1, Painting 1, and Painting 2. However, during her years in Florida, she taught AP Studio Art, Portfolio Development, Pottery, 2D Studio Art, Yearbook, Digital Design, and a few years of Algebra I as well.

Although Ms. Baniak has an affinity for colored pencil, she loves working with a variety of materials and is constantly utilizing her art skills outside of the classroom. She spends her free time pursing a variety of art endeavors including drawing, designing wedding invitations, painting on non-traditional surfaces, creating greeting cards, hand-pouring candles, and more.

Ms. Baniak is most inspired when she is experimenting with new art endeavors and believes that the most successful people in life never stop learning!
