Whole Group Classroom Leadership Foundational Skills
for Certified Staff Teaching Large Group
Whole Group Classroom Leadership is a one-day training that focuses on preserving relationships while maximizing learning in a classroom. Using oral communication in a meaningful, deliberate, and purposeful way increases understanding. This training will provide practice and the "why" behind nonverbals and the Catalyst Approach. This training is for anyone who is in charge of a large group of students or a classroom. The training book is received at the training.
Supporting Whole Group Classroom Leadership Foundational Skills and Beyond
For all Staff that Supports Certified Staff Teaching Large Group
Supporting Whole Group Classroom Leadership is a one-day training that focuses on everything learned in the Whole Group Classroom Leadership training as well as a focus on how to support a Whole Group teacher and students while they are in a whole group setting. When all adults are in support of each other by using the same language and nonverbals, students will increase comprehension while lowering anxiety and the environment will become safe and equitable. This training is for anyone who interacts with a whole group of students as a support to a whole group classroom teacher.
Catalyst Coaching Session with MEC Coaches
For Schools or Individuals to Watch as an Overview of what Catalyst Coaching Entails
The Implementation and Support Information Session is a brief session that focuses on how Catalyst Coaching looks and feels and covers all of the details around Catalyst Coaching. This session may be viewed in a Zoom format with the coaches from the Midwest Educational Consultants (MEC) or with the District Catalyst Coach. This session is for anyone who will be receiving Catalyst Approach Coaching.

Coaches Week Delivering Empowering Feedback
For Resident Coaches in Training
Delivering Empowering Feedback is a week-long training that fully prepares an individual to become a Catalyst Approach Resident Coach called Coaches Week. The training is intense and the hours are long. Yet attendees leave saying that it is the best training they have ever received as an educator. The goal of Coaches Week is to fully prepare and equip the Resident Coaches with Catalyst Skills and Catalyst Coaching Strategies while instilling Core Beliefs and discussing Actions to Avoid. This training is for anyone that has spoken with their building administrators and has been chosen to attend.
Small Group Foundational Skills
For all Staff that Teach a Small Group of Any Kind
Small Group Leadership is a two-day training that focuses on everything learned in the Whole Group Classroom Leadership training while adding in skills specific to small group instruction. Teachers who work mainly with small groups will feel most effective when they have foundational skills and beyond. This course will offer refinements in order to create a small group atmosphere of learning, equity, and relationships. This training is for anyone who teaches small groups of students.
