Tim Berners-Lee graduated from Queen's College at Oxford University in England, 1976. While he was there, he built his first computer with a "soldering iron, TTL gates, an M6800 processor and an old television." Tim Berners-Lee proposed a global hypertext project, to be known as the "World Wide Web". With this World Wide Web, people were able to share their ideas in a form of a hypertext document.
