Device:  eppendorf FemtoJet® 4i

Objective: Microinjectors allow very small amounts of liquid to be injected into cells or animals (Fig. A, B). Pressure and time parameters are set on the device and controlled by software. The injection can be triggered using the microinjector or a connected Eppendorf micromanipulator. Semi-automatic injection operation is controlled by either the microinjector or the micromanipulator. The necessary pressure is generated by a soundproof built-in compressor.
