Field trips are organized group activities facilitated by the Community Engagement Coordinator and supported by designated school representatives. They provide a valuable opportunity for students and their families to engage with the broader school community while supporting each student’s individual learning plan in an enriching, hands-on environment.
Participation in field trips is voluntary. Parents may choose whether their student(s) and family members will attend each scheduled trip. Students’ attendance fees for field trips may be paid using their Instructional Funds (IFs), subject to school approval processes.
For students paying with Instructional funds, parents must place a PO prior to registering and provide the PO number during registration. Parents must make sure to follow the proper payment procedures in order to secure their spots!
All expenses for parents, siblings, and any non-enrolled participants must be paid out of pocket by the family and are not eligible for payment or reimbursement through the school.
If an accurate PO number is not included on the family's registration form, we cannot guarantee space for the family on the field trip.
In the event that a field trip is full by the time a family completes the registration form, the PO will be canceled.
**Participation in field trips is contingent upon availability of funds, space, and compliance with all school policies.**
