Community and Content Provider (CCP/VCI) Information
An Approved Community and Content Provider (CCP) is a provider authorized by Excel Academy to provide expanded learning opportunities funded through Instructional Funds (IFs). Approved services may include class fees, enrichment activities, community-based learning opportunities, core subject academic support, and materials when the provider is also approved as a Materials CCP. Available providers and services can be found in Excel Academy’s current Approved CCP Directory.
At Excel Academy, the safety and well-being of every student is our highest priority. Before a provider may offer services to Excel Academy students, they must successfully complete all applicable onboarding, renewal, and approval requirements.
Depending on the services provided, these requirements include, but are not limited to:
Department of Justice Live Scan fingerprint clearance
Proof of current business liability insurance
A valid business license
Current Mandated Reporter Training for all individuals who interact with students
Completion of all other required application, renewal, and compliance documentation
These requirements help ensure that providers serving our students meet applicable California requirements and Excel Academy’s standards for safety, accountability, and quality.
The examples listed above are not exhaustive. Excel Academy reserves the right to interpret these guidelines and make all final determinations regarding provider approval and the use of IFs.

Compliance with Policies:
All school policies and procedures must be adhered to when utilizing IFs for any approved service.
Core Curriculum Requirement:

Approval and Purchase Order (PO) Requirements:
Expanded learning opportunities must be pre-approved by the ToR, and a fully processed purchase order must be submitted and received by the CCP prior to the scheduled event or activity.
Excel Academy will not, under any circumstances, reimburse parents for services paid out-of-pocket.
