I am choosing the hands-on activities I did in the 904 Module 2 Educational Apps workshop, that I wasn't even present for (live), as my signature assignment in the Mobile technologies course.
Our presenter, Jody Green, did a fantastic job of offering us a variety of engaging and relevant activities. Throughout her workshop, she shared resources and links to numerous apps from her "favorites" list that wold be suitable on a variety of devices. It was evident that her audience was carefully considered when she prepared for this as she did a great job of engaging us while pushing us just enough to practice, explore, and learn on our own. She challenged us to create something using these apps that we had never used before; however, since I was not present in the live session, I did miss out on the discussion back and forth to aid in clarifying. I was, able to create a very brief activity example that would have students create a "meme" of sorts relating to our unit on ecosystems and the human impact on them. I really appreciated the way she presented the information; and, the manner in which we were pulled into the workshop to create and discover.
