Shibuya

Shibuya (渋谷) literally translating to "Bitter Valley". Which is incorporated into the pun "Bit Valley", deriving from the bustling IT industry in Japan in the late 90s.

Frequently depicted as Japan's staple location in pop culture, Shibuya has been visualized through many mediums. The way that we are going to see it is through the eyes of tourist. The sightseeing that we will do in Tokyo will include this ward and others like it. "Shibuya was historically the site of a castle in which the Shibuya family resided from the 11th century through the Edo period. Following the opening of the Yamanote Line in 1885, Shibuya began to emerge as a railway terminal for southwestern Tokyo and eventually as a major commercial and entertainment center" (Wikipedia). Now it is shown like one of the many gems of Japan (Below, images of Shibuya) (Left to Right, Jet Set Radio,The World Ends With You) (Bottom, Neo Tokyo and Persona 5 (Lower, Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift))
