Grants – money given that does not need to be repaid, usually because of financial need
Scholarships – money awarded for academic achievement or an outstanding talent or skill
Work-Study – money earned at a school-affiliated part-time job
Loans – borrowed money that must be repaid
Direct Subsidized Loan - The federal government pays the interest while the student is in college or while the loan is in deferment
Direct Unsubsidized Loan - Interest begins accruing as soon as the loan is taken out.
In the fall of your senior year, complete applications for admission and financial aid.
