10,000 Degrees understands setting a college-going mindset starts early. That’s why our staff work directly with local elementary, middle school, and high school students to help make sure they can envision a pathway to college. We deliver the following real-world, interactive support to encourage the next generation to embrace their futures and make their college dreams come true.
Our programs help students navigate their school and the world beyond academics. 10,000 Degrees collaborates with the student, their family, their school, and other community partners to ensure that each student feels in control of their own path and has the information they need to make informed decisions about their future.
10,000 Degrees College Access team is dedicated to helping rising high school seniors from low-income backgrounds get to college, whether enrolling at a four-year college or community college. Through the 10,000 Degrees Institute, which kicks off with an amazing college immersion (10,000 Degrees Summer Intensive) in July/August before their senior years and continues through graduation, we work directly with students and their families, in coordination with their teachers and counselors, to provide the following year-round support to 10,000 Degrees high school students
