Student Activities

Check-out the flyers for Greater Metro Regional Program activities and Nebraska Regional Program (statewide) activities.  Each activity is offered in-person. The events are for Nebraska students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing and are receiving special education services.

• Communication Contest for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students - 10-12th grades

  • • • The contest will be in March 2026 at ESU 9 in Hastings, NE.  

      • Students must have at least a 40 dB loss in one ear.

• Family Camp 2026: Deep Roots, Strong Branches: The Power of Connection

  • • The family camp will be held April 24-26, 2026 at Camp Covenant Cedars.

    • There is no cost to attend; families must have a children with a hearing loss servicing services.

    • Registration opens Feb. 17th at 10:00 AM: space is limited.

• Camp Anderson 2026: July 12th-17th

  • • The camp will be held at Camp Comeca in Cozad, NE.

    • There is no cost for students to attend.

    • Students need to complete the application, recommendation form and an essay.
