Online Professional Development Opportunities
Participating TASK12 Member States have collaborated with the IMET Program to provide access to five different online professional development modules developed for sign language interpreters. Certificates of Completion and RID CEUs are available for successful completion. Modules have been designed to be completed independently online at a self-pace. INTERPRETER MENTORING
The Nebraska Dept. of Education through Utah State University is funding a mentoring program for educational interpreters with EIPA scores in the range o 3.0-3.9. This program requires about 8-10 hours per week during the evening. Sessions are conducted virtually and alternate between language coaching and mentoring. Applicants need to apply by August 11, 2024. Please see the flyer for more details.
Nebraska's Conference on Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education 2025
The conference will be held March 28-30th, 2025 at the Younes Conference Center South in Kearney, NE. Presenters will include Crom Saunders and Tina Childress. See the QR code on the flyer for the schedule and hotel information. Registration will be available soon! Check back for the link.
