Script for explaining MIPS during IEP meetings: The Federal government provides a fund of money that your school district can access to help pay for physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech/language services. We need your consent to access these funds. The funds are part of the state Medicaid program and do not impact your individual Medicaid benefits if you are eligible. We ask all parents to consider signing this in case the student is eligible and we are able to access the funds.
