Resources for finding Texts for Reading 

Reading texts based on articles from National Geographic Magazine followed by interactive reading comprehension activities, a recording of the text to listen to online, a supplementary grammar and vocabulary practice worksheet based on the text, and links to National Geographic images and videos for users to explore the topics further. 

American Teens Talk is a collection of interviews of American high school students in both written and audio format. Each interview is accompanied by vocabulary notes and discussion questions that can be adapted to reading comprehension lessons.

Downloadable comics and graphic novels,  media-rich resources that can be used as text for reading comprehension lessons to all levels. You can find comics materials, webinars and interesting Forum Magazine articles on teaching English with comics.

This resource includes notes for teachers and activities to use in the classroom at the end of each story. The stories are written by teenagers and young adults. These stories provide an enjoyable opportunity to increase vocabulary, reading comprehension, listening, speaking, and writing.

Celebrate Holidays in the USA discusses the ten federally-recognized holidays in the United States, as well as many celebratory days such as Valentine's Day and Mother's Day that are commonly celebrated. At the end of each article there is a glossary. The articles and glossary can be used for designing reading lessons.

Texts, articles and conversations with different interactive tasks appropriate to different levels of proficiency to practice reading comprehension. 

Reading practices organized by level. There are different types of texts and interactive exercises that practice the reading skills students need to do well at school, get good grades in their tests and exams, and get more out of your free-time activities.

Developed by the University of Cambridge, Write & Improve is a FREE tool that helps every learner to improve their English writing. It is a great automated feedback tool to help learners improve their writing skills as they can receive feedback timely, one of the criteria of effective feedback. Additionally, teachers can use it as an effective tool to assess students' writing skills.
