Sports Day!
Congratulations to all our fabulous winners on sports day shown below.
What an impressive bunch!
Try a Sport Week
For try a sport week we were lucky to have the coaches from Phoenix Flames to teach us some killer hip hip moves!
Planting Seeds!
We are learning about kindness towards everything in Nature.
We understand that spreading kindness makes the world a happier place.
So we are showing that we can enjoy nurture in Nature.
In Mrs Mcinnes's class we have been planting cress seeds using basic materials.
All we needed was a plastic cup, cotton wool or a scrunched up paper towel and cress seeds.
We watered the cress seeds we had placed on top of the cotton wool/paper towel and know that to help them grow and develop we need to care for them.
So we will place them in direct sunlight indoors, ensure they are constantly moist and watch them grow.
We understand that being kind to all living things is a reflection of a fair, just and kind society which we want to survive and thrive in.

A Friendly Assembly
We put on an extraordinary show about friendship for our parents and the primary 4-7s. We use music, acting and speaking to share our learning about what qualities make a good friend, how we can show empathy and kindness and how we can resolve friendship issues when we fall out.
P5 Table Top Sale
We really enjoyed our visit to primary 5's table top sales. There was an impressive array of home baking and handmade wares. We were delighted to support this enterprise with our cash!
Marvellous Music
Mrs Lyall has been teaching us how to read music notation! We have been learning about note length and where the notes sit on the stave.
