Spooky Spiders Webs
We enjoyed a delicious treats today... getting to decorate our very own delicious Halloween treats. We spread chocolate or vanilla icing on our cakes and added a swirl of white or brown chocolate before dragging through the icing to create our spiders webs.
Spooky Spine Poems
For our short burst writing this week, we focused on setting a spooky scene in the deep dark forest.
We generated lots of vocabulary and used it to create our very own spine poems describing the trees, the mist, the darkness and the sounds in the deep dark woods.
Focused Fact Finding
This week we learned about internet browsers, tabs and address bars. We learned how to use key words and search engines to find specific information for a purpose.
We used our new knowledge and skills to research facts for our Titanic Project.
Tag Rugby
Tag Rugby
This term P4.2 will be learning to play Tag Rugby. We plan to work on our skills and then finish off with a mini-tournament. This week we concentrated on tagging and dodging. We played the Chef and Pizza game and it was so much fun.
We can't wait for next week!

We mapped the story of Little Red Riding Hood with pictures.
We practised telling the story to our partners.
We re-rote the story independently, adding and changing words.
We sat in the hot seat to read our version to the class.

Perfect Presentation
Well done to this young lady who created a fantastic Titanic project full of facts and figures!
She shared her outstanding model of a sinking Titanic and told us all about how she made it.
She also shared her experience of the Titanic exhibition in Glasgow in a clear, interesting and expressive way. Well done!
Terrific Titanics
In Art we have been practising our skills by looking at the visual element of line. We followed step by step instructions to create detailed pencil line drawings of the Titanic. We're not quite sure we managed to include all 4000 windows!
Primary 4.2 kicked off October with a well deserved wings reward!
We have been working really hard on our legendary lines; lining up speedily and quietly and walking beautifully through the school.
We chose a fabulous games afternoon with our tablets and games consoles and Subbuteo!
We have already earned 2 wings towards our next reward!
