STEM Week

We also had a very special visitor to the class....Mr Murray! Not out Mr Murray, but his identical twin brother! He spoke to us about his job of being an electrician. Some of us took part in some demonstrations on how electricity is generated and got to use some tools.

Ben - I liked the magnet spinning to make the lights go on.

Felicity - We had fun when Mr Murray's twin came in and I loved learning about his job and I had fun when I got to use the drill.

Elena - We had fun learning about Mr Murray's brother's job.

Max - We had fun learning about being an electrician and Mr Murray's brother Gordon came in.

STEM Week

P3 have been taking part in lots of STEM activities for STEM week.

We visited the Innovation Station for Lego challenges, coding, construction and exploring STEM resources. Have a look at the pictures to see what we produced.

Adam C - I built a big sail boat and I took my time on it.

Olly - we had fun making stuff with tools.

Isla - We had fun trying to build a house with tools.

4 times table

P3 have been learning the 4 times table.

World Book Day 2025

Another World Book Day has come and gone.

The children dressed as a book character and took part in book related tasks all day. There was DEAR (Drop Everything and Read), book reviews, door design competition (winner still to be announced) and a BBC Live session on book genres.

Happy World Book Day

We had 3 DEAR sessions thoughout the day.

Felicity - Some of us brought books from our house and we got to stop and read and it was fun.

Max - We had so much fun reading books on World Book Day. I liked the book related tasks.

Lara - It was a lot of fun because I really like reading and I think the rest of the class does as well.

Olly - We had fun reading books.

Pancake Tuesday

On Tuesday, P3 took part in some pancake themed tasks.

In the MUGA we learned a new game (not related to pancakes, but still fin as you can see from the videos) and played pancake relays using tennis rackets.

Then in the afternoon , we had some pancakes with toppings that we ordered in French.
