As we finally say goodbye to January (after what feels like 59 days!) here photos of the fun and learning that's happening in P3 this month.

As part of our Scottish focus month, P3 took the opportunity to learn some ceilidh dances.
We learned the Gay Gordons, Military Two Step and Canadian Barn Dance.

Fitness Circuits
Fitness Circuits
During the week P3.1 took part in some fitness circuits in the MUGA.
The children were great during all the tasks including skipping, wall push ups (or squats/lunges) cone sprint, hurdles and cone grab.
They showed resilience to keep participating even though it was a bit cold and wet!

P3 were learning about another Scottish mythical creature this week -kelpies.
We created warning posters to inform and warn people about these water spirits. We also wrote a informative piece of writing to inform the reader about kelpies.
