Christmas Music

Mrs Lyall led an amazing music lesson in which the children were able to practise their musical skills by playing along to the Nutcracker and Jingle Bells.

Christmas

Here are some highlights of the run up to Christmas in P3.1 including carol singing for parents, the Christmas party and the panto.

Christmas panto - Pinocchio

Olly - I loved the characters and I enjoyed it.

Christmas Party

Harriet - We were having a Christmas party and we all enjoyed dancing around, even the teachers.

Keir - The party was very good. I enjoyed all the games and learned a new called musical arms. My favourtie was musical bumps.

Calum - I was so nervous but I got the hang of it.

STEM Challenge

This week, P3 had a STEM challenge linked to the space topic.

They had to design and build a Mars lander which can land safely. They had to make sure the astronaut (a ball) does not fall out or bounce out of the spacecraft (a cup).

P3.1 Assembly

On the 6th December, P3.1 delivered their class assembly to P1-3 and our adults.

Thank you to everyone who came along to support and thank you for allowing us to display your toys and gadgets.

Olly - I enjoyed our assembly and I liked my part and what I was saying.

Isla - I liked how we knew where we were standing. I like we were standing on the stage in front of everyone.

Adam C - I liked the show because we had toys to show the people what it was.

Max - I was a wee bit nervous but I did it before so I can do it again.
