P3 have been learning about farming in ancient Egypt.
We have been learning about the different seasons farmers use to grow and harvest crops and we learned a bit about how the farmers watered their crops.
We started to make our own model of a shaduf, a tool the farmers used to take water from the Nile to water the fields.
First week back after the Easter holidays and Mr Lyall led another wonderful music lesson for P3.
Each child had an instrument and played along as part of a group to rhythms that they have been learning this year.
Some of the children were keen to get out into the lovely weather and tidy up the school grounds.
There was quite a lot of litter to pick up, but the playground and pitch looked much better after P3's fantastic efforts.
P3 did an amazing job of leading the Easter service with Jade and Murdo.
Well done to all for the amazing singing.
I was so impressed with the readers too. It takes a lot of courage to stand up in front of the whole school. I am really proud of all of you!
