Malika Booker is a famous, poet and artist. She is from the UK, Born in London 1970 but she grew up in Guyana and moved back to the UK at the age of 13.

She writes out of a passion for Caribbean culture; the music, the food, the dance, the religion, the storytelling, the spoken language. She wants to share stories that haven't been told before and teach people about other cultures and ways of living. We think this is fantastic.
