THE CONCEPT
The Equip studio logo is bold, clean, and sophisticated. It is also playful—not rigid—and communicates the creative nature of our team and our work.

The Equip Studio brandmark is an abstract representation of the company's initials, "E" and "S," in architectural handwriting. It is meant to communicate our bold, yet clean and sophisticated personality. The "S," or what we lovingly refer to as "The Bars" are slanted upward to represent the process of equipping, empowering, and elevating our clients through our unique take on the design process.
THE 'E'
The two slanted bars are an abstract representation of the negative space or voids of an "E." The blue box is the positive space of the letter.
THE 'S'
The two slanted bars are also an abstract representation of an implied "S." The two slanted bars represent the positive space of the letter.
BOX + BARS
The final brandmark design is a result of the figure ground interpretation of the 'E' and the 'S'. We call the ground 'The Box' and the figures 'The Bars'.

CONDENSED
This version of the logo is RARELY used. We only allow use of this logo for applications that require a condensed lockup, where the horizontal version will not suffice. Click on the button below to learn more.
