If anyone heard the name Louis Armstrong, they would know who it is. As he has been featured in many movies and his music is often played in cafes around the world, no one will forget his legacy. Armstrong was born and raised in New Orleans and was a foundational influence in jazz, shifting the focus of the music from collective improvisation to solo performance. As a vocalist and trumpet player, he was able to manipulate a song in many ways. Everybody can recognize Armstrong's rich and gravelly voice, especially in some of his most popular songs like What a Wonderful World and Vie en Rose.
