This is probably one of my favorite photos that I've ever taken on film and there's a lot of reasons. The saxophone player in the middle is Sammy Taylor, who is a rising Senior at Ensworth. When you meet him, he's super shy, but once he gets on stage and starts playing, his true character comes out. I remember being blown away by his performance at this Jazz Band concert and I know others felt the same way. This photo makes me feel the way I felt when I was there, whether it's because you can see the shine of the brass instruments or there's complete darkness surrounding the subjects in the photo, I can feel it. I didn't realize until recently how much impact brass instruments have on a song and how much life they add to a melody.
