George Jones was an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He was known as one of the greatest country singers of all time. Jones has been called "The Rolls Royce of Country Music" and had more than 160 chart singles to his name from 1955 until his death in 2013. He performed at the Ryman many times and his legacy lives on as he is a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame
