Continuing fabrication of bracket (plan c)
will have AlN bar this week for plan b.
Research for companies to produce plan A is ongoing.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
Got AlN parts for plan c made.
Attempted to removed notches caused by water jetting process with carbide tooling - without success.
Sponsor confirmed material used to make chip and informed us about company that produced it
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.

Chip is made from SiO2 (in person 5/11) --> Updated to be Si
Wants date and time that we can meet in week 9 for presentation (in person 5/11)
Need bracket to be assembled for temperature testing at SPAWAR.
Updated the team with info on exact material of the chip.
Actually is made primarily of Si and uses a Nb(Niobium)-based fabrication process
Contains Nb superconductor metal for devices and wiring an Mo(Molybdenum) normal metal for resistors and Au contacts
Instructor Comments from Last Meeting and Actions Taken to Address these Comments (indicate date of comments and if via email or in person)
Check with sponsor about what the chip is made from.
Checked and sponsor confirmed that the chip is made from SiO2 and have manufacturing reference.
Instructor confirmed composition of microchip.
Composed of layers of Silicon Dioxide upon a Silicon wafer substrate.
