Overview of Status of Analysis, Design, Fabrication, Tests, etc.
Starting to fabricated bracket plan c.
All materials ordered.
Working on FEA Analysis of transient thermal conduction throughout the bracket.
Begun fabrication of alternative plan for bracket.
Accomplishments from Previous Week
ordered AlN bar
received two .07" AlN plates.
Report first draft completed.
Ordered Diamond tipped drill bits
Goals for Next Week (list names after each item). Use specific and measurable objectives.
Download PCB software and send design to company to make (Patrick)
Cut Aluminum Nitride Sheets to proper sizes using machine shop tooling
If unable to cut with Tom's tooling, purchase proper tooling. (diamond edged saws)
Possibly drill proper holes and machine cut outs on AlN
Prepare design for sponsor to be ready for production (tentative)
Complete FEA thermal analysis of assembly (Daniel)
