To My Wonderful Year 7 Class
I just want to say how incredibly proud I am of all of you! This year has been full of new experiences, challenges, and big steps—but you’ve handled it all with curiosity, courage, and kindness. Watching you grow more confident, make new friends, and try your best every day has been such a joy.
Year 7 is a big transition, and you’ve all shown how strong, capable, and awesome you truly are. Keep being curious, keep helping each other, and keep reaching for the stars. You’ve made this year so special!

Empowered lessons is a time for learners to make their own decisions about learning rather than the teacher having all the control. The opportunity to make decisions is part of what can make a learner more independent, or autonomous.
