Year 11-2
Year 11-2
Dear tutees,
As the year comes to a close, I want to thank you all for your energy, teamwork, and enthusiasm throughout our time together. Whether it was preparing for International Day or taking part in Empowered activities, you've consistently shown dedication, creativity, and a willingness to grow.
I’ve truly enjoyed watching you support one another, overcome challenges, and celebrate each other’s cultures and strengths. These shared moments, both big and small, have made our group special.
Keep carrying that spirit forward. The lessons you’ve learned—about responsibility, teamwork, and respect—are not just for school, but for life.
Wishing you all continued success, joy, and confidence in everything you do.
With appreciation and warm regards,
Your Form Tutor Ms Najat
This is how we started.
Remember the process of practicing creativity.
This is what you tried to create.
These were the four activities you tried to work on.
For your future adventure, it's good to remember what to do in extreme situations.
I want to congratulate ADAM, ARPIT, ARISH, AZIZ, UMAR (Ballers team), and Heba, Yara, Deena, Nisa for completing the empowered activity today "Teamwork in the extremes". You have shown a great team spirit and ability to accomplish work despite challenges.

What we would do by Heba, Yara, Deena, Nisa
Assess the surrounding environment for safety risks and immediate dangers.
Evaluate the terrain, weather, and wildlife for hazards that could endanger your team.
Assign roles and responsibilities to each team member.
Decide who will focus on finding shelter, food, signaling for rescue, and maintaining group morale.
Establish a safe and reliable communication plan.
Designate signals, signs, or codes that the group will use to communicate effectively, especially during high-pressure situations or when separated.
Search for or create shelter to protect the group from extreme weather.
Use available resources (natural or man-made) to build or find a safe area that shields the group from the storm's effects.
Take inventory of available supplies and identify options for rationing food and water.
Prioritize essential resources and distribute them in a way that ensures the group’s survival over the next few days.
Decide how the team will deal with injuries or illness.
Develop a plan to handle medical emergencies and ensure that someone is responsible for first aid or health concerns.
Discuss the options and make decisions about sending out a distress signal.
Weigh the risks of staying in one place versus actively seeking rescue. Use your resources to increase your visibility to potential rescuers.
Create a schedule to manage stress, rest, and responsibilities.
Ensure that all members have breaks to avoid burnout, but maintain a rotation of duties so that no critical tasks are left unattended.
Support team members emotionally, particularly those feeling isolated or overwhelmed.
Establish a system of emotional and mental support to keep morale high during moments of fear, stress, or conflict.
Work together to evaluate the risks before every decision.
When faced with high-stakes choices, communicate openly, review all options, and make decisions that prioritize both safety and survival
Get into immediate shelter, build a shelter and place to sleep for the night,
and in order to prevent risks from debris or injuries. We may collect food from the sea or trees.
Continue to grow nutrients from plants and create a fire to cook the fish we’ve food.
Gather resources and be sure to organize them scarcely for each day.
Yara and Heba are taller they can collect things from trees and reach certain things. In order to build shelters.
Nisa and Deena can gather food, and start the camp fire.
We will communicate without panic, in an orderly manner.
In case someone gets lost we can create signal with our voice and be sure to keep track of where you are. Splitting up is not allowed. Atleast have one person with you.
An ill person will be treated with natural remedies, provided with protection and rest.
Support each other in times of need and find ways to have fun and keep ourselves productive. We could swim, build, upgrade shelters, cook food for the day and gather new resources. Keep ourselves busy with quests and adventures.
Slogan: "Our roots run deep, and we are proud of ourselves"
This is what we did on Tuesday. Save energy.
Cancer awareness...
Fatima and Ammara showed up too with pink origami hearts.
This is what you shared for this activity - choose values that most resonate with you.
You read this in class and you liked it.
Positive thinking
It's important and smart to carry with you a strategy to help you in achieving your goal.
Pyjama day
National Day
The work was amazing - well done everyone.
Thanks to Adam, Nasser, Deena and Dhianisa for taking part in this activity showing your commitment and positive attitude.
