Head of Year Message

Dear Year 11,

As you conclude your IGCSE examinations and bring this important chapter to a close, I would like to take a moment to commend each and every one of you for your perseverance, dedication, and resilience throughout this academic year.

Year 11 was never intended to be easy — it is a year designed to stretch you, challenge you, and equip you for the path that lies ahead. Throughout this demanding journey, your patience, focus, and strength have been tested — as has mine, without question. Yet, you persevered. You demonstrated resilience, determination, and a spirit worthy of genuine recognition and celebration.

This examination period has tested more than just your subject knowledge — it has measured your endurance, your organisation, and your ability to remain composed under pressure. Whether you left each exam feeling confident or unsure, what matters most is that you approached the process with integrity and consistent effort. These are qualities that will serve you well in all areas of life.

As you now look ahead to the next phase of your journey, I encourage you to carry forward the lessons of this year. Continue striving for excellence, but remain grounded in the values of character, kindness, and respect. Academic success is important, but the person you become will always define your greatest achievement.
