In every poem written, every story crafted, and every essay analyzed, our students have challenged themselves to think critically, explore their creativity, and express complex ideas clearly. This department has seen them develop their language skills and confidence as they collaborated with peers, engaged in lively discussions, and participated in events that shaped them as well-rounded individuals. We’ve watched them grow into thoughtful, analytical, and compassionate communicators — and it has been a privilege to guide them on this journey.
Year 7 to 9 students have truly brought their language skills to life this year! Whether it was conducting insightful interviews, engaging in passionate debates, or unleashing their creativity through poetry writing, they’ve embraced every activity with enthusiasm and teamwork. Each moment has been an opportunity for growth — both inside the classroom and outdoors.
From annotated texts to immersive workstations and Socratic discussions, Years 10–12 dived deep into English—sharpening evaluation and analysis, honing comprehension, and mastering the art of writing.
During Dictionary Day, the students dove into the world of words with creative activities and games

Literature Week
What an unforgettable Literature Week it’s been, filled with fun, discovery, and pure book-loving joy! Each day, the students immersed themselves in the worlds of iconic authors, and the excitement was truly off the charts. We wrapped up the week in style, with students and teachers bringing stories to life by dressing up as their favorite book characters, filling the classrooms with heroes, villains, and endless imagination.
