Engineering and design of salt-resistant antimicrobial peptides.

Protein DNA Complex‐Guided Discovery of an Antibacterial Lead E1 in Restoring the Susceptibility of  Klebsiella Pneumoniae to Polymyxin B by Targeting Response Regulator PmrA.(The provisional application for patent is obtained and U.S. patent applying)

Exploring the mode of action of inhibitors targeting PhoP response regulator of Salmonella enterica through comprehensive pharmacophore approaches.

Investigating structure-function relationship of VraR (vancomycin-resistance-associated response regulator) of Staphylococcus aureus through X-ray crystallography. (Cooperating with Dr. Chinpan Chen, Institute of Biomedical Sciences, Academia Sinica.)

Investigation and annotation of the structure and function relationship of MtrA-DNA in complex with RNAP by using Cryo-EM.

Drug development of translational medicine: cancer and diabetes.
