For the first week of our senior project, we all had class on April 3rd. It felt a little strange only going in for one period, but we used the rest of the day productively by organizing our blog. We reviewed blogs from last years senior projects to get inspiration for how we want our layout to be. We met at Katie's house to make our all about us and our project portion of our blog.
On Friday morning at 9:15 we met with our inside mentor, Dr. Worthley. We met in his office in the rise room and discussed what day next week would be good to check in. It was a quick meeting since we just started but it was a good start and set up for the future. At 10:30am we went to Medfield Yoga Studio where we met with our outside mentor, Tracy Buckley. She welcomed us into our studio and gave us a tour of the studio. She gifted us each five classes at the studio. She explained all the different classes they teach at the studio. We scheduled meetings with both our inside and outside mentors for the following week and showed them our blog. Lastly, we started our mindfulness through movement week early with a 3.5 mile walk, during which we scheduled upcoming workout classes that we will be participating in the next week.
